Participation at the Biennial Conference of Assam Sahitya Sabha:Phase 6

Dr. Shah Mohammad Tanvir Mansur, Assistant High Commission of Bangladesh to Guwahati,Dr.Soumitra Shekhar, Professor, Department of Bengali, University of Dhaka, Mr. Monoranjan Ghoshal, Eminent Singer from Bangladesh was felicitated on the occasion. Sharing moments. Asom Sahitya Sabha, the most important literary and cultural body devoted to uplift the Assamese language, literature and culture. Being the largest non Government literary organization of Assam ASS had successfully hosted its 10th annual conference at Raha, Nagaon from 31st Jan to 4th February 2019. Assam has a rich legacy of literature and culture. The basic aim of the conference is to acknowledge, systematic archiving and popularizing the work of poets and writers of Assam. The five-day-long colourful agenda was to promote a strong sense of fraternity, cultural affiliation enhancing mutual trust and assistance among the people. We are feeling glad that the core committee of Asom Sahitya Sabha invited us to be a part of it and we would like to thank them. “Siro Senehimur Bhasha Janani”.
